In 2022, Dario Mars decided to concretely merge music and cinema by taking a new step: composing the soundtrack for a visual odyssey. It's an exclusive montage of selected pieces from the hallucinatory imagery of Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani's trilogy ("Amer" - 2011 / "L'Étrange Couleur des Larmes de Ton Corps" - 2013 / "Laissez Bronzer les Cadavres" - 2017). This French directing duo reimagined the conventions of Giallo and Spaghetti Westerns with an audacious, sensual, and delirious aesthetic. The unique universe of these films greatly inspired Dario Mars, resulting in music dedicated to this concept.
